Sxeager Wheeler Heritage Farm
The Seager Wheeler Farm is a Heritage Farm located 30 minutes north of Saskatoon, just 6 kilometers east of Rosthern.
Seager Wheeler was a famous farmer in the Canadian Prairies. He was best known as an international prize winner in wheat competitions and author of many publications on progressive farming techniques. He was also an inventor of farm implements and developer of new grain and horticultural varieties. Seager Wheeler's contribution to the science of farming made this area attractive to settlers. After working for years throughout the province, Seager Wheeler made this farm near Rosthern his homestead in 1890.
This now Heritage Farm is a great place to visit! Fill your buckets with Saskatoon berries, sour cherries and raspberries from the U-pick orchard, explore the heritage buildings and wander through the flower gardens.
